قال الله تبارك وتعالى: { إِنَّ الصَّلوةَ كَانَتْ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كِتَابًا مَّوْقُوتًا } [سورة النساء]. روى الطبراني بالإسناد الصحيح المتصل أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: « إن خيار عباد الله الذين يراعون الشمس والقمر والأظلة لذكر الله » رواه الطبراني، والمراد بذكر الله هنا الصلاة. فلا بد من المراقبة العيانية للتحقّق من دخول وقت الصلاة، ولا يكفي الاعتماد على مجرّد الحساب.
